Brève biographie de Deyang Rinpoché, l'Abbé du monastère

Choekyab Rinpoché est le responsable et l’Abbé du monastère de Deyang. Rinpoché est la réincarnation du Grand Drakor Khenchen Chokyab Sangpo, Maître Khadampa et Tuteur du Lama Tsongkhapa, fondateur de la tradition Gélupa.

Sa Sainteté Le Dalaï Lama a reconnu Rinpoché au début des années 90 ; Rinpoché est né le 27 septembre 1966 à Lhassa, sa mère s’appelait Konchok Dolma, son père Lobsang Phuntsok, de la famille Kyira Labta. Rinpoché a démarré ses études jusqu’à la classe 5 à Lhassa.

A l’âge de 13 ans, Rinpoché est parti en exil en Inde et est entré dans le monastère de Nechung à Dharamsala dans le Nord de l’Inde. Là, Rinpoché apprend les pratiques tantriques monastiques rituelles, la philosophie bouddhiste, il est formé par le Vénérable Kalsang Sonam. En 1994, il est reconnu par Sa Sainteté comme la réincarnation de Dharkor Khenchen Choekhap Zangpo et est officiellement intronisé au monastère de Drepung Losel Ling. Par la suite, Rinpoché poursuit ses études supérieures dans ce monastère.

En 2003, Rinpoché a commencé la re construction du monastère auxquels ses prédécesseurs appartenaient, Deyang Dratsang, sur les instructions de Sa Sainteté avec l’aide précieuse du Vénérable Thupten Ngodup ( Le médium de l’Oracle de Nechung). Le monastère a été achevé en 2008 et la cérémonie d’inauguration a été conduite par et avec la bénédiction de Sa Sainteté le Dalaï Lama. A l’heure actuelle, Rinpoché voyage de par le monde pour trouver des soutiens financiers au monastère et donne des enseignements.

A brief Biography

H.E. Choekyab Rinpoche is the Head Lama of Drepung Deyang Monastery. Rinpoche is reincarnation of great Drakor Khenchen Chokyab Sangpo, Khadampa master and teacher of Lama Tsokhapa, the founder of Gelugpa tradition.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama recognized Rinpoche at early 90s, Rinpoche was born in Lhasa on 27th September 1966, to mother Konchok Dolma and father Lobsang Phuntsok of Kyira Labta family. Rinpoche had studied up to 5th class in Lhasa.

At age of 13 Rinpoche came to exile in India and enrolled in Nechung Monastery in Dharamsala in North India. In Nechung Rinpoche has learn all the Monastic trantric rituals practices and Buddhist philosophy and trained under Ven. Kalsang Sonam la. In 1994 Rinpoche was recognized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as reincarnation of Dharkor Khenchen Choekhap Zangpo and formally enthroned in Drepung Loseling Monastery. Thereafter Rinpoche did his higher monastery education in Loseling College.

In 2003 Rinpoche had started re-established his own Monastery (Deyang Dtsang) as per instruction from His Holiness and with help of Ven. Thupten Ngodup la (echung State Oracle) Rinpoche started re-establish Deyang Monastery where is predecessor belongs. Deyang Monastery was successful completed in 2008 and inauguration ceremony was contacted with grace and blessing with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. At movement Rinpoche is traveling around the world and giving teaching and trying rise support for Deyang Monastery.
